having problems booting my laptop i have to sitch off and on several times to get it to work.sometimes i got the phoenix bios screenand sometimes not even that so i keep switching on/off until i get windows to start .i already replace my hard disk but keep having the same problem please help!!!

I have tried backdoor default passwords eg.. Phoenix,phoenix, CMOS, bios etc.. I was told to remove CMOS battery for a while to see if that would reset, but in the Acer Aspire range its soldered in I believe. My computer is a Laptop Acer Aspire 5050.
